Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.



One should expect further reductions in interest rates


In the opinion of Lukasz Kozlowski, an expert of the Employers of Poland, it is the disappointing readings of  most macroeconomic indicators published in recent weeks that were behind the decision of the Monetary Policy Council lowering interest rates by 25 base points.

– Contrary to earlier expectations, the weakness of Polish economy, understood as the continuation of the annual GDP growth slightly above zero, may be extended to the second quarter of this year. This is evidenced by Monday's PMI data for Poland showing a further deterioration of the economic situation in the industry – Lukasz Kozlowski, the expert of the Employers of Poland, comments on the decision of the MPC.
