In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.



CO2 emission rights without administrative intervention means good news


The Employers of Poland welcomed the European Parliament's decision to reject the proposal to withdraw 900 million CO2 emission rights.


The so-called ‘back loading’ was supposed to be an administrative intervention in the European carbon market in order to increase the prices of emission rights. – Nowadays, it is economic growth that must be the absolute priority. Another increase in energy prices would not certainly render a service to the economic growth – emphasizes Piotr Wołejko, an expert of the Employers of Poland. He also mentions that European companies are losing competitiveness on the global market.
