Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.

Business wants to talk about its responsibility

On April 11, at the seat of the Employers of Poland, took place a meeting with representatives of business and the media concerning the promotion of activities connected with the CSR.

The main conclusions from the discussion: Entrepreneurs should base their actions on CSR strategy and then start the communication activities - not vice versa; in the media releases and announcements there are too many negative messages in relation to the unethical behaviour of companies without emphasizing good CSR practices; among the media representatives there is a lack of  support for CSR activities; the task of the media is to educate the public and build awareness of what CSR is all about; programs created by the media should inspire, arouse reflection, stimulate further exploration of the subject and searching information about CSR .
