Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.



The Ministry of Finance is preparing an amendment to the Public Finance Act


The debt of Polish general government sector increased in the first quarter of 2013 by 3.5 per cent.


Łukasz Kozłowski, an expert of the Employers of Poland, emphasizes that the official level of public debt only artificially remains below the second safety threshold (55 per cent GDP), and only through the efforts of accounting.

The Employers of Poland have been mentioning the need for financial reform for many years. In their view, the economic slowdown is not admittedly the best time to consolidate public finances, but there is no other choice in the present situation.
