On June 27, 2013, at the seat of the Ministry of Economy, the Business Forum took place, as part of the OECD Ministerial Conference entitled Eurasia Competitiveness.
The Forum was attended by high level representatives from the OECD and the BIAC, the ambassadors of the OECD member countries accredited to Poland, as well as the representatives of governments and entrepreneurs’ organizations from Poland, Central Asia (Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan), as well as Eastern Europe and the South Caucasus (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia and Ukraine).
The presentation of business offers of the states in the Eurasia region, and a number of bilateral meetings between government delegations and business representatives were held as part of the Forum. The Forum also served as a platform for dialogue and exchange of information in the field of trade and investment. It also gave the opportunity to develop new forms of cooperation between Poland and the countries of Central Asia, Eastern Europe and South Caucasus.
