Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.

Additional money is necessary for the fight against unemployment

The Employers of Poland accept with satisfaction the declarations of the Minister of Labour and Social Policy, Władysław Kosiniak – Kamysz, from which it appears that he will demand that the Minister of Finance, Jacek Rostowski, unfreeze the funds from the Labour Fund.

- Making use of the additional money allotted to the fight against unemployment is today the need of the situation - says Monika Zaręba, an expert of the Employers of Poland. - Its freezing in the Labour Fund, which was established to promote an active struggle against unemployment, seems incomprehensible to say the least - adds the expert.

- As long as the economic situation does not improve markedly and entrepreneurs do not feel firm ground under their feet, it will be difficult to expect a revolution on the labour market. In the current environment we particularly need such additional support from the state that will help both companies and employees to weather the period of downturn - says the expert.
