Companies are still learning social responsibility

From 54 companies - belonging to the Coalition CR - which signed the Code of Responsible Business, declaring knowledge of and compliance with its principles in everyday practice, as many as 79 % of them are guided by the principle of transparency and make public information about their activities.

The biggest challenge for companies is to create and develop products and services in response to new social and environmental needs. The report verifying compliance with the Code in 2012 says that on average enterprises make only 27 products or services per year with a focus on new social and environmental challenges. Only less than 5% of the employees of companies are involved in the training sessions on social responsibility, and 11% are involved in employee voluntary programs.
