Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.

Dark clouds gather over the entrepreneurs’ heads

- The Council of Ministers’ acceptance of the bill on protection of competition and consumers, as well as the Code of Civil Procedure is another bad news for Polish entrepreneurs – think the experts of the Employers of Poland.

- We are surprised that the Council of Ministers uncritically accepted solutions harmful to Polish entrepreneurs. The bill carried out by the OCCP (Office of Competition and Consumer Protection) comes down to trying to increase the effectiveness of the activity of the office not through greater efficiency, curiosity and productivity of its employees, but by increasing the harshness of law and the possibility to punish entrepreneurs – stress the experts of the Employers of Poland. - The proposed measures aim at weakening the position of entrepreneurs in the proceedings before the President of the OCCP parallel to extending the powers and discretion of the body – add the experts. Nobody has seen to it that the adequate standards to protect the proceeding parties' rights are provided, which in the end results in non-compliance of the bill to the Constitution of Poland and to the European Convention on Human Rights.
