Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.

The Law on flexible working hours, signed by the President of the Republic of Poland, is a step in the right direction

The President of the Republic of Poland, Bronisław Komorowski, has supported the need for flexible working time by signing an act amending the Labour Code Act and the Act on Trade Unions.

The Employers of Poland accept these changes with great satisfaction as the new rules will facilitate the organization of working time, and thus, have a positive impact on the situation of companies and their employees. The signed amendment anticipates an introduction of two solutions, which worked during the period of the so-called anti-crisis law, i.e. the possibility of applying the 12-month billing periods and flexible working hours, into our legal system permanently.
