Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.



Visit of His Excellency Mr. Dag Hartelius, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden


On 23 September 2010, Mr. Andrzej Malinowski, the President of Employers of Poland received His Excellency Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden Mr. Dag Hartelius. 


The main topic of the discussion focused on current economical issues. They also addressed the issue of the privatization in energy sector. President Andrzej Malinowski elaborated on the issue of the Employers’ of Poland support for the privatization processes indicating that in certain sectors – for the security reasons – it is required to maintain the margin for the activities of the public sector. The issue of the aging population in the EU, responsible entrepreneurship and minimum wage issue were also raised during the discussion.


President Andrzej Malinowski pointed out that Poland, in principle, supports the idea of the free trade. Nevertheless, Employers of Poland recognize the need for the existence of the minimal quality restrictions which come from the legally sanctioned certification and the need to maintain standards offered by foreign products and services.
