Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.

The economy takes back its good course

According to the latest data from the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, the unemployment rate in July was 13.1 % - by 0.1 percentage points less than in the previous month. The experts of the Employers of Poland estimate that due to seasonal factors these results should not be surprising.

According to the Employers of Poland, the unemployment rate should drop slightly in August and possibly in September. – However, we will rather not manage to break the 13% level of unemployment, and even if we do, it will be just a short term. In the autumn and wintertime the number of people out of work will increase and the unemployment rate may be as high as 14% - say the experts of the Employers of Poland.

In their opinion, despite everything, the economy takes back its good course. - The second half year should be significantly better than the first one, and the GDP growth for the whole year will reach 1.3-1.5 % - add the experts of the organization.
