The MPs of Platforma Obywatelska want to introduce a regulation on the prohibition of using bills of exchange into the Labour Code (LC). The experts of the Employers of Poland, however, point out that such a ban has already been introduced. - It arises from Art. 300 of the LC and, what’s more, has been confirmed by the judgment of the Supreme Court – remind the experts.
- The bills of exchange cannot be used towards employees. Such action is considered against the law and the bill itself to be invalid – say categorically the experts of the Organization. - If there are cases of using bills of exchange towards employees it is a risky attempt of the employer to protect his property - emphasize the Employers of Poland. According to a report prepared by the Employers of Poland and Euler Hermes in 2012 – as many as 78 % of companies in Poland are swindled and cheated by employees. - In consideration of the scale of the problem it is necessary to develop some solutions that will curb it- end the experts of the Organization.
