Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.

The Employers of Poland are preparing the strategy of changes in tax regulations

Too complicated, often rough and repeatedly amended tax laws are a real nightmare, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises. Having this in mind, the Employers of Poland began the realization of the project the effect of which is supposed to be the simplification of one of the key taxes for business entities - VAT.

During the project there will be conducted extensive research, among experts and entrepreneurs, to identify the specific issues concerning the legal and economic problems related to the settlement of VAT in Poland. The Employers of Poland will also examine the impact of the tax and its regulation on the development of entrepreneurship. The results of the research will be the basis for the development of proposals for changes in tax regulations.

The project is co-financed by Switzerland as part of the Swiss program of cooperation with the new EU member states.
