Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.

Public procurement - continued confusion

In the opinion of Jacek Cieplak, an expert of the Employers of Poland, in order to avoid ever-surprising and new changes in the Law on Public Procurement, one should consolidate the drafters’ work on this document.

The expert of the Employers of Poland points out that as many as four separate proposals for amendment to the provisions of the Public Procurement Law are currently being developed to facilitate the conduct of tenders in Poland. The representatives of Public Procurement Office, the Platforma Obywatelska Party, Palikot's Movement and the government present their own solutions.

- It's high time to consolidate the work of all the drafters and create laws that will ensure that more entrepreneurs will be able to participate in tenders, without concerns about their economic and legal interests - says the expert of the Employers of Poland, Jacek Cieplak.
