The Employers of Poland evaluate the budget for 2014

- The budget for next year was constructed with as yet unprecedented caution. This is probably a result of the painful experience connected with the need for an amendment to the previous budget law. This time, the government create the legal safety buffer to avoid such a dubious surprise - says Łukasz Kozłowski, an expert of the Employers of Poland.

It is with surprise that we learn that the macroeconomic assumptions, on which the draft budget is based, are the same as in the Perennial Financial Plan for the years 2013-2016 that was passed only in April. - It is a sign of great - and it is possible that excessive - confidence of the government, because after less than half a year they did not decide on the modification of their forecasts, although since that time we had got to know the value of a number of key macroeconomic indicators - says Kozłowski.
