Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.



The meeting of the representatives of Employers of Poland with US-Polish Business Council


On October 19th, 2010 the Vice-Presidents of the Employers of Poland: Grażyna Piotrowska-Oliwa, Janusz Pietkiewicz, Andrzej Jacaszek and health expert Robert Mołdach met with the representatives from US-Polish Business Council. The head of the delegation was the President of the Council – Mr. Eric Stewart.

The American delegation consisted of members of 12 leading companies among which there were representatives of the energy, paper, food and metal industry sector. During the meeting both sides expressed their interest in cooperation, aimed to strengthen Polish-American economic relations.

The task of the Council, which was officially appointed on October 18th, 2010 is to promote trade relationship between both of the countries as well as to eliminate barriers, which face U.S. companies carrying out investments in Poland as those, which face Polish companies in the U.S.
