Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.

Officials do not have a monopoly on knowledge

The Council of Ministers got involved themselves in the draft rules of their work, prepared by the Government Legislation Centre. The Employers of Poland took part in the public consultation of the project.

- We critically evaluate a lot of leeway in determining the duration of the public consultation, as well as generally the carrying out - or not – the consultation – says Piotr Wołejko, an expert of the Employers of Poland from the Centre of Monitoring Legislation. - Officials do not have a monopoly on knowledge or the rightness; they need support from the outside. Therefore, the consultation should be made mandatory and the right time must be allowed for it - says Piotr Wołejko.
