Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.

Amendments to the Public Procurement Act proposed by the government are dangerous for entrepreneurs

In Sejm, works on an amendment to the Public Procurement Act are underway. According to Employers of Poland, the government project includes several solutions which are dangerous for entrepreneurs.

Amendments suggested by the government negatively refer to the obligation  to remove surety bonds including interest when the documentation has not been completed at the ordering party’s request and differently regulates prerequisites for banning contractors from tenders. These solutions are harmful for entrepreneurs. Not only do they make it impossible to adopt a well-defined, consistent course of action, they also confirm that frequent changes of the same regulations are made in a somewhat ill-advised manner.
