In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.



The “Paying Taxes” report shows the biggest weaknesses of the Polish tax system


Results of the latest edition of the “Paying Taxes” report confirm the views of Polish entrepreneurs on the functioning of the tax system in Poland – it is unclear and excessively complicated.


Taxation issues which trouble Polish entrepreneurs the most include: high rates, time-consuming administrative and legal requirements needed to properly settle tax obligations, such as the high number of payments required to do so (18). In most developed countries only 8 or 9 payments are required.
