Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.

The General Tax Ordinance is not the entrepreneurs’ main problem

According to the Employers of Poland, the introduction of a Tax Code with a list of taxpayers’ rights, as announced by the Minister of Finance, will not improve the entrepreneurs’ situation.

The new Tax Code will substitute the General Tax Code currently in force, which regulates, a.o.: tax liabilities, tax procedures and tax control. – However, there were no detailed indications as to which elements of the code would be improved in order to secure economic growth and simplify the tax system – experts of Employers of Poland stress. In their opinion, a better solution would be to first introduce amendments to substantive law regulations, particularly the Value Added Tax Act, for example by simplifying settlements.
