Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.



In Brussels on the situation in Ukraine and the European Commission’s plans for 2014


On January 21 President of Employers of Poland Andrzej Malinowski participated in a plenary session of the European Economic and Social Committee. The most important issues discussed were as follows:


  • A report on the recent mission in Ukraine, presented by Chairman Henri Malosse. According to the document, the Committee should support the development of civil society and is obliged to lend its support to actions aimed at resolving the current crisis.


  • A schedule of activities of the European Commission for 2014 presented by the Chairman, Jose Manuel Baroso and a discussion on elections to the European Parliament. 


During his visit in Brussels. President Malinowski discussed the project of a networking system with representatives of employers’ organizations from other EU member states.
