On January 23, President of the Employers of Poland Andrzej Malinowski and Vice President Andrzej Mądrala met Secretary of State in the Ministry of Health Sławomir Neumann.
Among the topics discussed were the drafts of acts on supplementary health insurance and public health. The currently elaborated project of health needs’ maps and the problem of queues in the healthcare system were also touched upon. Establishing an advisory group to the Prime Minister dedicated to the above mentioned issues was suggested.
The participants shared their views on the situation of private entities with regards to the amendment of the act on healthcare benefits financed from public resources. They discussed establishing the Healthcare Academy 2030 think tank and summarized the Health Ministry’s activities in 2013.
