Legislation Monitoring Centre

At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.

Prime Minister Pawlak: Take advantage of the solutions of the Employers of Poland

- It is worth asking the Minister of Health, and even better the Prime Minister, to familiarize with the solutions proposed by the Employers of Poland as part of the Academy of Health – said Waldemar Pawlak, Premier, in Polsat News.

- The biggest problem for the government is the lack of proactive actions and ideas, as well as an attempt to look for these ideas only in the Ministry of Health - said Premier. He added that he was currently cooperating with the Employers of Poland, and as part of the organization they established the Academy of Health that, on behalf of employers and with the social partners’ approval, presented a wide range of solutions designed to improve the quality of treatment.

- I have a feeling that the bureaucratic approach to matters has already exhausted, and it is unable to cope with real problems. Such blurring the reality with various sales gimmicks is no longer enough - said Waldemar Pawlak.

The Academy of Health Advisory Group 2030 was established on the initiative of Andrzej Mądrala, the Vice President of the Employers of Poland, in April 2013.  The Group consists of 16 experts. The Academy has produced a document called the Health System in Poland - Diagnosis and directions of reforms, which is the basis for a thorough debate on the future of health care system in Poland.
