Conference of photovoltaic industry on the subject of the RES (Renewable Energy Sources) Act

On Friday January 24, at the headquarters of the Employers of Poland, took place a conference entitled “The new law on renewable energy sources (RES): to be or not to be for photovoltaics”. The meeting was organized by the Association of Employers of Photovoltaic Industry.

During the conference the representatives of the Association stressed the need to introduce the extended regulation of the area of production of energy, coming from renewable sources.

At the same time, the participants expressed their concern about the proposed solutions prepared by the Ministry of Economy. In their view, the concept of replacing the current subsidy mechanism with the tendering system will significantly impede the functioning of many small producers.
