On 30th March 2011, the President of the Employers of Poland, Mr. Andrzej Malinowski, and the President of the Polish Section of BIAC, Mariusz Gaca, met with the Secretary General of BIAC (The Business and Industry Advisory Committee to the OECD), Mr. Tadahiro Asami. The main objective of the meeting, which was held in Paris, was to discuss further cooperation between the two organizations and the details of BIAC General Assembly. The meeting will be held from 7 - 8 April in Budapest, thanks to the hospitality of the Confederation of Hungarian Employers and Industrialists (MGYOSZ) and the National Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers (VOSZ). This year,the event is officially recognized as one of the events that are part of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
BIAC is an independent organization officially recognized by the OECD (Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development), as a representative body of business and industry. Its role is to present to the OECD and the governments of the member countries the opinion of the business community, while providing a convenient forum for entrepreneurs to participate in intergovernmental discussions on economic policy. Employers of Poland have been a member of BIAC since 2005.
