Poland and Moldova on free trade and renewable energy sources

Economic cooperation, energy industry and renewable energy sources were discussed at the IV meeting of the Polish – Moldovan Economic Cooperation Committee. The meeting at the Ministry of Economy was attended by Janusz Pietkiewicz, Vice President of Employers of Poland.

Deputy Minister of Economy Andrzej Dycha assured the participants that Polish entrepreneurs are ready to cooperate with Moldovan companies, particularly the financial and banking sector, agriculture, food industry and the tourism and transport sectors.

He also mentioned that both parties are interested in cooperating for a more effective energy industry and development of renewable energy sources – the Committee established a working group dedicated to these issues.

Issues of support for the development of small and medium enterprises in both countries, as well as credit and insurance offers for entrepreneurs realizing contracts in cooperation with Moldovan partners, were also touched upon.

Employers of Poland closely cooperate with the National Employers Confederation of the Republic of Moldova based on a bilateral agreement, signed on February 13 2012, during the official visit of President of Employers of Poland Andrzej Malinowski in Chisinau.
