- NHF withdraws from the high standard of quality of care for patients. Again, I request that the Fund introduces such criteria - calls Andrzej Mądrala , Vice President of the Employers of Poland.
In December 2013, a draft directive of the Head of the NHF was sent to public consultation. The directive concerns determining the evaluation criteria applied in the proceedings leading to concluding agreements on the provision of healthcare services. This document has stirred up a lot of emotions among service providers. It stipulates implementing the key recommendations of the Group for Determining the Criteria of Offer Quality Assessment, appointed by the Head of the National Health Fund and working under the leadership of Marek Haber.
Unfortunately, numerous quality-related elements of the evaluation of offers that are important to patients were missing in the version of the directive signed by the Head of the National Health Fund. The directive abolishes, for instance, the criterion granting an entity providing services in the area of rehabilitation additional six points for having the Minister of Health accreditation (Certification of the Centre for Quality) .
