In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.



Salaries grow at record pace


Central Statistical Office data on the growth of wages in January this year show that we are earning more and more.         


- Throughout 2013, wages in real terms grew the fastest since the beginning of the crisis and are likely to increase again this year - notes Łukasz Kozłowski , expert of the Employers of Poland.


According to the Central Statistical Office data in January this year the average monthly salary in enterprises amounted to 3805.28 PLN. This represents an increase by 3.4 percent on last year’s figures and is higher than the forecasted growth rate of 3.2 percent. Despite periodic fluctuations the growth trend of the average salary is maintained. Throughout 2013, the average salary increased by 3.6 percent.
