Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.

A catalogue of good practices in the fight against stress

On Wednesday, February 26th, Employers of Poland signed recommendations for reducing stress in the workplace. The agreement on the recommendations is an undoubted success of the social partners in view of the fact that the discussions took several years. It also proves that dialogue and cooperation are still possible.

The recommendations complement joint declaration of 14th November 2008, whose aim was to identify measures to make employers, employers' organizations, trade unions, and employees more aware of work-related stress and methods of reducing it. They are also one step forward in implementing the European Framework agreement on work-related stress of 8th October 2004.
