Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.

Emloyers of Poland appeal for accepting LOT Polish Airlines restructuring plan

Employers of Poland have submitted their position on LOT Polish Airlines restructuring plan that is meant to help the air carrier achieve viability. They appealed for accepting the plan.

Employers of Poland emphasise that the cost-cutting measures already taken have brought an improvement in financial results. They argue that LOT Polish Airlines is an essential carrier for Polish business, whose air links with world business centres play a key role for businessmen. They also mention the fact that the company has recently  added new wide-body aircraft - B787 Dreamliners to their fleet, which will improve the quality of services offered.

Bearing in mind examples of European air carriers’ bankruptcies the Employers of Poland argue that a collapse of the carrier would adversely affect hundreds of thousands of people (including laid-off workers and their families) and the Polish state budget (reducing tax revenues and increasing the scale of social benefits needed). Negative effects of airline bankruptcies are known in Europe.
