The May series of conferences “Region-Economy-European Union” and the Polish-German Energy Summit in Berlin were the topics discussed during recent meetings of the President of Employers of Poland with Jan Krzysztof Bielecki, Chairman of the Economic Council to the Prime Minister and Jerzy Pietrewicz, Deputy Minister of Economy. The former meeting was held at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, the latter at the headquarters of Employers of Poland.
The “Region-Economy-European Union” conferences are a series of meetings with candidates for members of the European Parliament, at which Employers of Poland want to discuss issues related to the development of regions and the future members’ of the European Parliament engagement in this regard. The Summit in Berlin is aimed at developing the cooperation between Polish and German entrepreneurs and discussing common goals and differences with regards to energetic. The Summit will be attended by representatives of state authorities, energy companies and experts. In the afternoon on the same day, the summer Festival of Polish and German Business will be held at the Orangerie of the Charlottenburg Castle. Presidents of Poland and Germany, Bronisław Komorowski and Joachim Gauck were invited to attend the event.
