The place of Mazovia in the European Union and challenges presented by the new financial perspective – these questions, among others were discussed during the Region – Economy – European Union organized by Employers of Poland. It was attended by candidates to the European Parliament, entrepreneurs and local authorities.
Guests were welcomed by the President of Employers of Poland. Candidates – a.o. Danuta Huebner (PO), Wojciech Olejniczak (SLD), prof. Adam Kosecki (SLD), Paweł Zalewski (PO), Elżbieta Wiśniewska (SLD), Krzysztof Skolimowski (PO), Dariusz Grajda (PSL) – presented their visions of Mazovia’s economic development. Adam Struzik, Marshall of the Mazovia Voivodeship also attended the conference.
The debate too place on May 9th in the Saska Kępa Cultural Centre in Warsaw and was moderated by representatives of the EUROREG Centre for European Regional and Local Studies.
Guests could also attend the Mazovian Flavors Festival, prepared by the “Zaścianek Polski” restaurant.
