Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.



How can the Łódź Voivodeship take advantage of its potential?


A union of industrial cities? Taking advantage of central geographic position? Candidates to the European parliament and businessmen discussed their ideas for the development of the Łódzkie Voivodeship at a Region – Economy – European Union conference.  


Guests of Employers of Poland included Jacek Saryusz-Wolski, Bożena Zimniewicz and Krzysztof Malarecki of PO, as well as Zbigniew Krasiski and Grzegorz Matuszak of SLD.


As the conference was held at the University of Łódź, a large part of the debate centered on issues of relationships between education and labor market.


The Office of the Marshall of the Łódzkie Voivodeship and the Łódź Special Economic Zone were patrons of the event.
