Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.



Opolskie: support for intelligent specialization is necessary


Encouragement for cooperation between business and its environment, better use of the region’s geographic conditions and the fight against depopulation were the main topics of the Opole installment of the Region  – Economy – European Union conference, which took place on May 19th at the University of Opole.

The debate was opened by Mirosław Ptasiński, Vice Chairman of the Board at Azoty Group ZAK. Participants included Stanisław Rakoczy (PSL), Antoni Konopka (PSL), Piotr Dacewicz (The Opole Center for Economic Development) and Katarzyna Ruczka of Azoty Group ZAK. The conference was also attended by Deputy Marshall of the Opolskie Voivodeship Tomasz Kostuś.


The conference concluded with a Regional Flavors' Festival, where participants could taste traditional regional cuisine.
