Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.



Lower Silesia should take care of its competitive advantages


Factors conducive to stimulating and maintaining economic growth in the region, opportunities for cooperation between  business and science, as well as forms of financial support for entrepreneurs – such were the topics of a debate involving candidates to the European Parliament and business representatives at a Region – Economy – European Union conference held on May 21st in Wrocław.


The event was opened by Vicepresident of Employers of Poland Tomasz Misiak. Participants includedi: Ryszard Gola-Sienkiewicz (SLD); Roman Walkowiak (PO); Andrzej Kalisz, Chairman of Employers of Lower Silesia; Andrzej Grabowiecki, Chairman of the Legnica Special Economic Zone and Michał Kuszyk, Deputy Chairman of the Polish Copper Employers’ Association.


The conference concluded with a Regional Flavors' Festival, where participants could taste traditional regional cuisine.


The Legnica and Kamienna Góra Special Economic Zones were patrons of the event.
