Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.



General Program and Report Assembly on Brukselska Street


On Wednesday, June 11th, Employers of Poland held a General Program and Report Assembly, where the report of the President and the Council for the period between June 2013 and June 2014 was approved.


 - Employers of Poland are aware that they represent the most active group: entrepreneurs – said Andrzej Malinowski. – We are also well aware that we need to act in a manner that sets the tone for development and continuously redefine our goals. We need new ideas, bold vision and wider horizons - he added.    


President of Employers of Poland also addressed key areas of Polish economy, where the Organization is engaged in supporting development. He mentioned a.o. the need for radical changes in labour law, simplifying the tax law and support for innovation. He also underlined that energy was a key issue for our countries growth, but added that new legal solutions were needed – which would be one of the topics discussed at the Polish-German Energy Summit in Berlin.


At the Assembly, new members of the Council of Employers of Poland were appointed: Marek Woszczyk, Chairman of the Board at PGE; Mariusz Zawisza, Chairman of the Board at PGNiG and Juliusz Braun, Chairman of the Board at TVP.
