Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.



Representatives of employers’ organizations met in the Ministry of Economy


On June 24th in the Ministry of Economy, a meeting of the Working Team for the Improvement of Economic relations was held, attended by representatives of Employers of Poland.  


Agnieszka Królikowska, undersecretary of state in the Ministry of Finance, participated in the discussion and presented the concept of the “Letter of Warning” project, which will be carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy. The initiative is aimed at raising awareness of the consequences of VAT extortions among entrepreneurs. It will also help assess the risk involved in starting a cooperation with new counterparties and improved the security of economic activities by warning entrepreneurs of existing threats. The letter will be a statement informing of malpractices observed in a particular branch of the economy in order to prevent unwitting involvement in tax fraud.
