Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.

A decision on assigning LTE frequencies has been made

– The decision on initiating the assignment of the  800 MHz frequency, commonly known as LTE, was eagerly awaited not only by the IT industry – Arkadiusz Pączka, Director of the Legislation Monitoring Centre of Employers of Poland, comments on the decision of the Office of Electronic Communications.

After a long period of idleness and time wasting there is finally a chance for liberating frequencies, filling the blank spots on the mobile network access maps and achieving the assumed budget income at a level of over 1.5 bln PLN. We should remember that President of Employers of Poland Andrzej Malinowski appealed to the new Minister of Administration and Digitalization Andrzej Halicki to unblock this process shortly after his nomination.

This decision is a good prognosis for the future, as it liberates investment with regards to LTE all over the country. As a result, it could have a significant impact on the realization of the Digital Agenda guidelines, which oblige our country to restrict the digital exclusion of Polish citizens.
