This year, for the second time the International Organization for Migration (IOM) awards prizes in the competition Golden Fans. The President of Employers of Poland, Andrzej Malinowski is a member of the competition chapter. The contest is designed to honour institutions and individuals who contribute in a special way to promoting the integration of migrants into Poland, stimulate social and economic development through migration or build good practices in the field of migration management.
Candidates in the competition are proposed by the members of the chapter, public sector institutions, non-governmental and private organisations dealing directly or indirectly with the subject of migration in its social, economic, legal, political or cultural aspect. The proposals can be submitted at www.zlotewachlarze.pl. The competition chapter will select nominees and winners of Golden Fans. The Audience Award will also be given. The closing of the competition will be a Golden Fans Gala on 18 December 2014 in Warsaw.
Employers of Poland can nominate 3 candidates in the categories of person and institution. Nomination should be given for activities conducive of migrants’ integration. They may be good practices in the workplace such as special programs dedicated to employees, organized actions or training courses, as well as any other activities that support the integration of foreigners in Poland. We invite you to submit proposals for nominations at firstname.lastname@example.org by 13th November.
Golden Fans competition is part of a project Improving the efficiency of migration management in Poland, implemented by the International Organization for Migration and the Office for Foreigners. The project is co-financed by Switzerland in the Swiss program of cooperation with the new EU member states.
