The Minister of Education boasts about millions spent on developing vocational education. Experts claim that this is not enough – informs “Dziennik Gazeta Prawna”.
– In order to improve the situation, professional job counseling for middle schoolers should be introduced, provided not by teachers but by practicing experts with up to date knowledge of the labour market. On the other hand, we need to stop adapting schools to existing cadres – Monika Zaręba, expert of Employers of Poland, points out. She explains that shools whose graduates cannot find jobs due to the demand on the labour market, often go on for years. – Thirdly, an efficient system monitoring excess and deficit professions has to be created so that the education system may quickly react to changes on the labour market – she adds.
