The benefits of dual system of vocational training, participation of the social partners in it, and the general objectives to be achieved in this area – those were the main topics during the meeting of the Tripartite Commission’s working group for economic policy and labour market held in "Dialog" Centre for Social Partnership.
The starting point for the discussion was information on vocational training for the labour market prepared by Polish Craft Association (ZRP). Employers' organizations were represented by, among others, the Employers of Poland, unanimously recognized the need for a thorough analysis of the subject and developing specific recommendations that will make it possible to build an efficient and future-oriented vocational education system in Poland. To this end, a proposal was made to establish an expert working group that will develop appropriate solutions to be introduced in Poland and the timetable for their implementation. Representatives of employers are now awaiting a reply from the government, which was represented at the meeting by officials from the ministries of science and higher education, national education, labour and social policy, and the economy. They hope to get it at the plenary session of the Commission, which is scheduled for December 10th.
