Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.

Employers of Poland offer to mediate in the conflict between doctors and the Ministry of Health

Nothing suggests that the conflict between doctor and the Ministry of Health could be resolved in the coming hours. As of now, all basic medical care institutions signed contracts with NFZ only in four voivodeships. In some regions most institutions have not signed contracts yet. Such a  situation is an obvious threat to the patients’ right to common healthcare.

The issue of who is right in this conflict is not important for the patients. Everyone has the right to medical care and closing as many as 20 percent of doctors’ offices is a problem for hundreds of thousand s of patients every day. The urgent need for changes in the healthcare system is evident to everyone. It is also clear that such changes should be well prepared and their guidelines consulted with representatives of the medical profession. While the parties in the conflict present their arguments, the society wants a return to normality. Dialog and an appropriate solutions are needed. With this in mind, Employers of Poland – without judging the appropriateness of the arguments presented by either party – offer mediation in the conflict.

– We are convinced that this is the only option to help achieve compromise, considering the current situation. Employers’ of Poland many years of experience in mediation suggest that elaborating a solution which would resolve the conflict is possible – stresses Andrzej Malinowski, President of Employers of Poland.
