Flexible working time, longer parental leave or company day-care centres – these are only some of the solutions which employers can introduce in their companies to facilitate balance between work and family life. On February 3rd the laureates of the award were revealed.
The awards were inaugurated last year on June 23rd – on Father’s Day. Employers of Poland have been involved from the very first stage of establishing selection methodology, then promoted the awards and President of Employers of Poland Andrzej Malinowski PhD participated in the selection procedure as a member of the chapter.
The presidential pair awarded employers with statuettes and diplomas at the Presidential Palace. President Komorowski thanked all “who contribute to a family-friendly climate and introduce solutions favourable for Polish families”. He also emphasized the role of the government, parliament, local government and employers themselves in creating this climate.
Awards were presented in three categories, depending on the number of employees: from 49 employees, between 50 and 249 and over 250 employees.
Laureates include a.o. Vermiculite Poland (up to 49 employees), Wessling Polska sp. z o.o. (50 to 249 employees), LINK4 Insurance Company S.A and Nutricia Polska sp. z o.o (over 250 employees).
