Passing the in dubio pro tributario principle and introducing tax reliefs for innovative companies were the key propositions presented by President Bronisław Komorowski at his convention.
At the convention, held on March 7th, President Bronisław Komorowski emphasized the importance of adopting the in dubio pro tributario principle. – I believe that ambiguities related to taxation should be resolved in favour of taxpayers, rather than the tax office – stated the President. He also underlined that an effective taxation system was particularly important for the common good. – Taxpayers’ money helps us shape our reality, build our future – he stressed. There was also no shortage of propositions for changes supporting innovative entrepreneurships. – I will present a draft of an act facilitating cooperation between business and science – announced the President.
Changes postulated at the convention are undoubtedly positive for taxpayers. The fact that their problems are acknowledged by the President is encouraging. As the current legal and tax system requires reconstruction, entrepreneurs expect specific initiatives and solutions which will have a real impact on their situation, Passing the changes mentioned above could prove to be a turning point in relations between taxpayers and tax authorities and contribute to the development of Polish entrepreneurship.
