Mikroprzedsiębiorca Roku (Microentrepreneur of the Year) is an award presented by the Cronenberg Foundation with substantive support of the Microfinance Centre for Central and Eastern Europe and the Coalition for microentrepreneurship. Deputy PM and Minister of Economy Janusz Piechociński assumed honorary patronage over the competition.
The goal of the competition is to support entrepreneurship, entourage the establishment of companies and promoting the Best examples of effective economic activity. The competition is open for entrepreneurs who have less than 10 employees or a total annual turnover of no more than 2 mln euro.
Applicants can participate in three categories:
The Chapter will also award a special prize for young businessmen born after January 1st 1986.
There will be one main prize of 40 000 PLN and four prizes of 10 000 for the winner of each of the four categories.
Application deadline is April 20th.
The awards will be presented on June 23rd at a gala at the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
