On March 26-28th in Berlin, a meeting of a working group consisting of representatives of leading companies from the German and Polish energy and fuel industries, attended by Vice Chancellor o the German Federal Republic Sigmar Gabriel, will be held. The main topics of discussion will be the suggestion of establishing and energy union, as well as the security of energy supplies and the development of trans-border cooperation mechanisms.
The meeting will take place within the framework of cooperation initiated at the Polish-German Energy Summit on June 12th in Berlin. On the basis of a letter of intent, Employers of Poland and Deutsche Energie-Agentur support the exchange of experiences and know-how regarding the energy industry between Polish and German business.
The working group includes representatives of the following companies: PGE SA, PSE SA, PGNiG, PGNiG Termika, Tauron, Grupa Azoty, Energa on the Polish side and 50Hz, Vattenfall, ENBW, STEAG, E.ON, BASF, Enercon, VNG, Viessman on the German side.
