On March 31st, the Social Partners Forum, focusing on the role of social dialog in ensuring economic growth and stable quality job creation, will be held in Riga. President of Employers of Poland Andrzej Malinowski will participate as a representative of the European Economic and Social Committee.
The conference will gather representatives of employers’ organizations and trade unions from EU member states, as well as international institutions – including the European Commission and the International Labour Organization. The objective of the meeting is to exchange experiences and promote best practices in the field of social dialog.
Participants will discuss a.o. the impact of the social dialog system on economic growth, competitiveness, labour market modernization and social security.
The Forum will be concluded by a presentation of recommendations for the European Commission and other European institutions.
The event is held within the framework of Latvia’s presidency in the Council of the European Union and will be co-organized by a.o. the European Social Fund and the Employers’ Confederation of Latvia.
