Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.

Seminar: Doing Business in the UK

Employers of Poland, together with the British Embassy in Warsaw, UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) and the British-Polish Chamber of Commerce (BPCC) organized the seminar Doing Business in the UK on March 27, 2015.

The meeting was opened by the Mrs. Sarah Tiffin, Deputy Head of Mission, British Embassy Warsaw and Mr. Andrzej Jacaszek, Vice-President of Employers of Poland. They stressed the fact that the British market, although challenging, presents a great opportunity for Polish entrepreneurs. Dynamic cooperation of the two countries and the increasingly visible presence of Polish companies in London clearly illustrates the change in position of Polish economy on the world stage.

The next part of the seminar consisted of presentations for enterprises interested in exporting to the UK market, establishing a branch in the UK or acquisition of a foreign investor. The panel experts were BPCC, UKTI, DMB Law and OSTC Foreign Exchange.

The seminar ended with a panel devoted to the analysis of the success stories of Polish companies, which started business in the UK market. The companies included Nowy Styl, INGLOT and Beer Fingers. Presentations of the companies are linked below:
