On January 16-17th, Washington will host meetings of the taskforces and the plenary session of the B20, accompanied by an international G20 conference.
The B20 group associates business organizations, including the International Organization of Employers. Members elaborate recommendations for politicians working in the G20 group – an organization comprising 20 biggest economies in the world. Employers of Poland are the only organization representing Polish business in IOE and B20.
The event will be attended by Andrzej Malinowski, President of Employers of Poland and member of the B20 taskforce for infrastructure and investment, as well as Janusz Pietkiewicz, Vicepresident of Employers of Poland and member of the employment taskforce.
Taskforces will work on recommendations for G20 and discuss closer cooperation within the global economy. The meetings will be chaired by Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan, together with G20 and B20 leaders.
At the same time, Washington will also host the spring session of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, which will serve as a discussion forum for ministers of finance and politicians who shape global economic policies.
