Legislation Monitoring Centre

In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.

Conference "One year after deregulation. Accounting service market after the deregulation of the profession”

04-05-2015

We would like to invite you to a conference entitled “One year after deregulation. Accounting service market after the deregulation of the profession”, to be held on June 9th – on Accountant’s Day – at the National Stadium Conference Centre in Warsaw.

Soon a year will have passed since the act deregulating the professions of accountant and tax adviser came into force. Deregulation was widely discussed: opponents warned of a drop in the quality of accounting services and increased risk for entrepreneurs, while supporters argued that competitiveness would improve and new jobs would be created.

How does the accounting market look like a year after the change? Did the act have the intended effect? What development were felt by entrepreneurs and what was most felt by accountants? How will the market develop in the future? These will be, among others, the questions addressed by participants.

Participation is free of charge and the number of places is restricted.

Detailed program is available here.

Registration will open on May 11th 2015.
